Snake River Falls

Snake River Falls, one of the crown jewels of the Nebraska
Sandhills. At the Falls, the water plunges into the canyon and flows unimpeded
to the Niobrara River. The Falls are located on the privately owned property of
the Snake River Preservation Group [SRPG]. Public access for viewing only
is provided at the location within two roped off viewing points. The area is
not open to public fishing, swimming, hiking, camping, nor any other outdoor
activity. The viewing points are open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with
a $1.00/person fee, drop boxes are provided. There is no potable water, nor
public restrooms at the location. The SRPG reserves the right to open/close
access to Falls viewing at their discretion at any time and for any reason.
