Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum
The 300,000 sq. ft. SAC Aerospace Museum will ignite the thrill of discovery and innovation in guests of all ages. Established in 1959, the original mission of the museum commemorated the contributions of the Strategic Air Command, which was headquartered at Offutt Air Force Base until 1992. Upon completion of a new indoor facility, the museum moved to its current location in 1998 and today houses an impressive collection of military aircraft and space artifacts, many of which have been restored in the museum's on-site restoration facility. A wide range of traveling exhibits, permanent exhibits and special events provide unique experiences for museum guests. Open daily, 9am-5pm. Admission: $12 adults age 13 yrs and above, $11 seniors or military, $6 children ages 4-12 yrs, ages 3 and under free admission. Family membership is $75. Parking is free during your museum visit.
