About This Event
Joslyn Art Museum presents a special evening of food, drink, music, and art in celebration of Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, from 8 to 11 pm (evening exhibition viewing is from 8 to 10 pm only). The event draws inspiration from the roaring 20s, the Hollywood glitz and glam of the 1930s to 1940s, and the true Rockabilly style of music rooted in the early 1940s and crafted well into the 1960s. At the heart of the celebration is the new exhibition American Moderns, 1910–1960: From O’Keeffe to Rockwell (February 8 through May 17, 2015). Come as you are or dress in vintage vogue, then dance the night away with the Omaha Jitterbugs to the music of DJ Johnny2tone!
