The first weekend in June gives locals and visitors a chance to travel back in time when covered wagons and the new railroad were the principle means of transportation along the trails that cut through the Fairbury area in southeast Nebraska. Living History all weekend.
Rock Creek Station featuring Re-enactment of the Hickok-McCanles Fracas, Pony Express Ride, Mule Pulled Wagon Rides, Historical Interpretation on the East and West Ranches, music.
Saturday night enjoy a Buffalo Stew Cookout at 7 p.m. Advanced tickets will be on sale in May at the Chamber office and Rock Creek Station. Adults $9/Children $6 (13 and under)
Every 3rd Saturday from May-October is Living History Day where history comes alive portraying the 1866 living and working lifestyle.
