About This Destination

Just off I-80 Kearney Exits, next to the Great Platte River Road Archway - The museum is dedicated to honoring the history and heritage of Nebraska's fire service and to educating kids (and kids-at-heart) regarding fire prevention and fire safety through images, artifacts and interactive exhibits. The Nebraska Firefighters and EMS Memorial was dedicated on the campus in 2010 and serves as a granite landmark to tangibly memorialize and permanently honor the firefighters and EMS personnel of the past, present and future. The new Nebraska Firefighters Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made an impact on the fire and rescue services in Nebraska and beyond. Open year-round. Admission: $6 adults, $3 children, ages 5 & under free admission.
