About This Destination

Wildwood Lake Wildlife Management Area is the largest of eight flood control lakes managed for public recreation by the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District; 491 total acres, 103 lake acres. There are two access roads off of NW 84th Street. The northern access road leads to a concrete boat ramp; no wake boating. Significant fishery renovations were made in 2002. There are more than 120 acres of virgin and native grass prairie to explore, an ADA compliant fishing pier and restrooms. No entry fee or permit is required, but state game permits are required. Camping is allowed - observe posted rules. Rules include: no live baitfish and catch & release on Largemouth Bass and Channel Catfish. Have fun at Wildwood and be safe!
