f you could see Nebraska through my eyes, you'd see that we have one-of-a-kind dining experiences. My favorite to date is the Alpine Inn located in the Ponca Hills. Not only does the Inn have the best fried chicken in town but you get to dine in the company of your new friends: the rowdy raccoons and cautious cats that have taken up residence in the small forest at the rear of the restaurant. The Alpine Inn's owners have cultivated this unusual clientele by feeding the cats and raccoons for years, and they've even installed a picture window in the dining room facing the forest that goes all the way to the floor--perfect for younger guests who want to see the action but may not have grown to window height yet. You don't want to miss this dining experience. It's the only one of its kind in the country.
My name is Dessi and this is Alpine Inn through my eyes.
