The Sandhills Journey Scenic Byway, or Nebraska Highway 2, runs 272 miles between Grand Island and Alliance and will take you through remarkable scenery, one of America's unique geographies, and past abundant wildlife. The late Charles Kuralt called Nebraska Highway 2 one of the most beautiful highways in America. Kuralt said, "This road will take you to one of the last unexplored frontiers where vast treasurers can be discovered."
