This park is the ideal getaway spot for people wanting to enjoy the natural beauty of Nebraska. The park is located immediately south of Arnold, mature trees provide summer campers with cooling shade. Arnold Lake, Campground and Recreation Area features 29 campsites and encompasses 10 acres of land and a 22-acre lake. The area offers fishing, hiking, picnicking, electrical and water hook ups, primitive camping, and features newly constructed shower house, and large covered pavilion. The lake is stocked periodically with fresh fish by the Nebraska Game & Parks, providing ample opportunities to leave with tall tales about the "one that got away." Arnold Recreation Area was featured in the May 2007 issue of NEBRASKAland Magazine. Located ½ south of Arnold on highway 40, camping at the Arnold Recreation Area is first “come first, first serve.” The sites cost $25 per night. Primitive sites are $10 per night.
