World's Largest American Flag Unfurling

As America celebrates our 250th birthday, join this premier event with your family & friends to help Unfurl the World's Largest American Flag on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Lincoln's Sandhills Global Event Center. There will be free entertainment and food available for purchase. The flag will be unfurled at dusk (after a training session with volunteers), as drones overhead provide beautiful patriotic lighting. 700-1,000 volunteers are needed, as the flag measures 250' x 505' and weighs 3,000 pounds. We will all have a lump in our throats as we raise our flag and remember all of those who have suffered, bled and died to keep her flying.
