MoPac East Trail

MoPac East Trail

Address:
84th St.
Lincoln, NE 68501
The MoPac East Recreational Trail, owned and maintained by the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, is a 25-mile crushed limestone recreational trail for hikers, joggers, bicyclists, horseback riders, cross-country skiers and wildlife watchers. The former Missouri Pacific rail line is an extension of the City of Lincoln's Mopac Trail, and begins at 84th Street, just south of "O" Street. The trail goes through the towns of Walton, Eagle, Elmwood and Wabash, where it currently ends. An extension to the Lied Platte River Bridge is being planned. Trail parking and services are available at each town. The Charles L. Warner Equestrian Trail parallels the main trail throughout the corridor and both trails offer a great blend of prairie, woodland and agricultural scenery. Enjoy the MoPac East Trail and be safe! http://www.lpsnrd.org/Recreation/Recreation.htm
