October 10 through November 16, 2026
Included with paid garden admission. Free for garden members.Flora and Fauna – Nature’s Palette is a collection of watercolor paintings by Anna McCaslin celebrating plants, flowers, and garden wildlife. Inspired by both tropical and Midwest botanicals, the work reflects a lifelong creative journey and a renewed passion for watercolor painting.
Anna has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember, beginning with watercolor in childhood and returning to it later in life for its simplicity and natural beauty. During the pandemic, she was inspired to return to her brushes after a long hiatus, beginning a series of florals rooted in the beauty and color of nature.
Having spent her childhood in Hawaii and her adult life in Nebraska, Anna draws inspiration from both tropical and Midwestern landscapes. Her work explores the limitless possibilities of botanical subjects and the rich connection between nature, memory, and artistic expression.
