World's Largest American Flag Unfurling

As America celebrates our 250th birthday, join this premier event with your family & friends to help Unfurl the World's Largest American Flag on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Omaha's Memorial Park. There will be entertainment, including world-renowned Irish Tenor - Dr. Ronan Tynan. The flag will be unfurled at dusk (after a training session with volunteers), as drones overhead provide beautiful patriotic lighting. 700-1,000 volunteers are needed, as the flag measures 250' x 505' and weighs 3,000 pounds. Food will be available for purchase. We will all have a lump in our throats as we raise our flag and remember all of those who have suffered, bled and died to keep her flying.
