Lauritzen Gardens is a living museum featuring four seasonal horticultural displays of beautiful and engaging indoor floral exhibits, outdoor display plantings and natural plant communities. Discover 100 acres of inspiring gardens: rose garden, Victorian garden, children's garden, model railroad garden and the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory with its indoor tropical and temperate garden spaces. Amenities include a garden-inspired gift shop, café, and seasonal narrated tram tours. Kenefick Park is home to two of the greatest locomotives ever to power Union Pacific Railroad. Centennial No. 6900 is the largest and most powerful diesel-electric locomotive ever built and Big Boy No. 4023 is the world's largest steam locomotive. Open daily year-round, 9am-5pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day. Admission to the gardens. Free admission to Kenefick Park.
