A cherished tradition since 1960, Ralston’s Independence Day celebration is among the largest in the state of Nebraska. Festivities begin on the evening of July 3 with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena. On July 4, the celebration continues with a children’s parade, followed by the larger community parade, firefighter water-fight competitions featuring area departments, and a wide variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day.
