Sargent Fair & Chokecherry Jamboree

The Chokecherry Jamboree in Sargent, NE has been an annual tradition during our city's summer fair for several decades. This year's fair brings back the carnival on main street during all 3 days of the event! Friday kicks off with a Cruise Night & Ugly Truck Contest, as well as a teen dance in the park. Saturday is jam-packed with various games and tournaments in the park throughout the entire day, a parade and vendor/craft show starting at 10AM, both Lunch and dinner served in the park, including an ice cream & pie social in the evening! Saturday night is our Street Dance celebration with the band SwitchBak out of Omaha performing your favorite hits, so bring your dancing shoes! Sunday will consist of a coffee truck and church in the park, followed by a pancake feed, then finishing off with water fights between local volunteer fire departments.
