The Double R Guest Ranch is located in the heart of the Sandhills, north of Mullen. There are spring-fed lakes where you might catch northern pike, bass, bluegill or perch. Sportsmen can hunt whitetail and mule deer, prairie chickens, grouse and pheasant. Some of the darkest skies are located at the Double R, which makes it perfect for stargazing! If you enjoy hiking, you have miles of hills to climb and the views are breathtaking! Bird watching is a must as a large variety of birds frequent the ranch. Depending on the season, there may be some ranch work you may participate in! View the original three room sod house and the District 66 schoolhouse on site.
Our updated Country Cabin (and soon to be Lake View House) are furnished with your comfort and relaxation in mind. The kitchen is well stocked (just bring your groceries) or grill outside. A variety of outdoor games are provided for family fun!
