First vacation

My kids and I have never been on a vacation so we decided to start here, in our own state. There were so many places we didn't know existed! We took a week-long adventure across the state from west to east. We couldn't get to all the stops, but had plenty of adventure along the way. We traveled with a plant most of the week because the basil was too nice to pass up at Pekerak's produce. We made a wrong turn once and ended up in Iowa, it was ok, but there really is no place like Nebraska. Would do the passport trip again in a heartbeat, even with three fighting kids. We experienced art and culture and candy and made a couple if off the passport stops at the Henry Dorley zoo and the Golden Spike Tower in North Platte.
