Our Anniversary

Every year for our Anniversary we try and do something different, this year we choose to do the Ne passport. We started in May and finished Sept 14. We did the stops in 10 different stops with the panhandle loop being on Anniversary weekend (Aug 9, 29 yrs). We were fortunate that we were able to take family members with us on some of the stops. We enjoyed areas of Nebraska that we had never been to and the landscape was beautiful. We meet many people along the way that will forever be a part our story that we will tell for years.
We learned a lot of Nebraska history along the way, we tried to read as many historical markers and memorial highway markers as we saw. We also bought a power ticket for each town we visited (we missed a few), so we checked 53 tickets at the end and we did not get the outcome we wanted($12) it still made it fun.
We visited many coffee shops on the stop and we do jot drink coffee so we started trying a wild berry smoothie at each one. The winner in our book was Mark Ferrari in Oshkosh where we received our stamp for the water tower and it happened to be on our anniversary 😀.
We definitely will try this again.
