Seward 4th of JulySeward

Seward is known as Nebraska’s 4th of July City for good reason, with an annual celebration that brings in tens of thousands of visitors. In addition to the fireworks, parades and live entertainment, America’s 250th will include Faces of Rushmore, with interpreters of the four depicted presidents and two first ladies bringing history to life.

I-80 Bicentennial Sculpture Garden – Statewide

In honor of America’s 200th birthday in 1976, Nebraska commissioned a series of modernistic sculptures along 500 miles of Interstate 80. The nation’s 250th this year marks the 50th anniversary of the project, and events include educational talks from the creators and a re-dedication ceremony for the sculptures on July 4.
