Centennial Hall, a historical landmark built in 1897 and now the oldest standing high school building in the state, houses a heritage museum of area historical artifacts. Be sure to check out the thrift store in the building as well.

Ft. Sidney was a military post built in 1867. The current Post Commander's Home is a replica and Officers Quarters now house the Cheyenne County Museum which holds artifacts of the long history of the fort.

El Museo Latino is the only Latino Museum in Nebraska. The art, history and educational destination exhibits are open year-round and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Bi-lingual guided tours are available with advance reservation.
