Explore Nebraska's Niobrara National Scenic River
Nature lovers and food enthusiasts can joyously come together for a trip up to the northern part of our state! We've highlighted two destinations along the Niobrara Rive. Explore Niobrara State Park's waterways and trails, then enjoy a beer or two from one of the Sandhills' favorite breweries to wind down after your paddling adventure.
Niobrara State Park
Whether it’s a hot summer day and you’re floating down the cool river in a kayak or it’s a cool autumn evening at a campfire, there’s something for everyone at Niobrara State Park. There are horseback riding trails to bring your four-legged companions on and hiking trails to drag your two-legged companions down. It’s a great spot for adventurers of all ages and interests.
Bolo Beer Co.
Bolo Beer prides itself on offering up an honest, unpretentious craft beer experience. Brewed with the Ogallala Aquifer’s pure water, all of their beers go down quite easily … especially when you’re drinking them while playing a game of cornhole in their beer garden. We highly recommend the Wild Plum Gose if you’re looking for a refreshing, warm-weather beer.
