A great addition to a visit to Lincoln is a stop at the State Capitol, which is as distinctive and ornate on the inside as it is towering and impressive on the outside. Gaze up at the historical artwork or head to the top of the dome for a breathtaking view of the city. The capitol is open to visitors seven days a week, and guided tours are offered throughout the day, making the visit as educational as it is fun.
