The arts department on this campus is full of talent and work that has been produced and collected over the years. The Sheldon Art Museum houses a permanent collection of more than 12,000 objects focusing on American art including works by Constantin Brancusi, Alexander Calder, Aaron Douglas, Edward Hopper, Jun Kaneko, Lee Krasner, Georgia O’Keeffe, Isamu Noguchi and Mark Rothko. The museum, designed by noted architect Phillip Johnson, adjoins a beautiful, peaceful sculpture garden — perfect for a picnic or studying.

University of Nebraska State Museum of Natural History and Mueller Planetarium
